Free, Simple Password Management For Everyday Life

I have been using many password managements so far, but I couldn’t find any better than Passpack and finally stick with this to manage hundreds of my passwords. It’s quite easy to use, and also protect you against phishing and spying. See the video in a Nutshell.

No phishing, No Spying Eyes

Passpack uses the Anti-Phishing Welcome Message to help you protect yourself against phishing. The Auto-lock option will lock up your pack, even when you forget it and leave it unattended. Also, the Scrambled Password Field lets you copy the password, without exposing it to spying eyes.

Moreover, Passpack let’s you set up Disposable Logins for use when traveling. These One Time Password/Packing Key combinations should be used when accessing your account on public computers.

Passpack uses US Government approved AES encryption over a secure HTTPS connection. The same architecture which enables Double Access Data Retrieval also allows for Automatic Updates which are quick and painless.

Cool Passpack Additional Tools

Passpack offers a lot of additional tools for you to manage your password in faster and easier way.

A Desktop Application will allow you to access your Passpack data without having to access the website. Handy when dealing with an intermittant internet connection, or as a reader for Passpack backups. Built with Adobe AIR technology, the Passpack Desktop must be installed on your computer to work, but does not require a browser. Personally this is my favorite Desktop Application!

For Google fans, an alternative version of Passpack Desktop is also available on Google Gears which will run in your gears-enabled browser.

It’s FREE to save up to 100 passwords online (In the Desktop Application, there’s no limitation though :-) ). If you have more than 100 passwords like me, you can go for Pro plan which cost you ONLY €15 per YEAR! Wait a minute, currently Passpack is offering a promotion. You can check out the promotion code in your Account menu and you will save €5 on your first year subscription. Another good thing is all paid plans come with a 15 day money back guarantee.

It’s so cool and we strongly recommend you check this out today!

Great review! Thanks.

Re: Keeepass, yup, some folks like to use both Passpack and Keepass together, even a few requests for a Keepass plugin that'll sync with Passpack... so if you're interested, try spurring someone ion the Keepass community to build that :)

Cheers!
