GIF, Graphics Interchange Format,is a bitmap image format and is used extensively on the Web to product simple animations. In contrast to JPEG, one of the colors in the palette can optionally be set as fully transparent. Regarding the transparent background, however, the PNG format is a popular alternative to GIF images since it uses better compression techniques and does not have a limit of 256 colors (but PNGs do not support animations).

There are tons of cool GIF animations out there and I found a good website called Gif Bin on where you can find a lot of cool and funny gif animations.

Today I’m going to list 20 awesome gif animations. Hope you enjoy the animations! It would take some time to load the gif files though. So please be cool just for a while
